Below are websites curated to provide you guides to the best day trips and tours in the Seattle area, as well as surrounding locales. These listing are not an endorsement of any specific provider or a guarantee of accuracy for what is presented. It is simply an effort to save our guests time that can be better spent enjoying the Pacific Northwest.
Seattle is surrounded by some of the most beautiful outdoor sights and activities you can take in. This resource will detail a trip to Mt Rainier, as well as detail other island and forested locations. The focus is on hiking, with great food and drink thrown in.
One of my favorite things to do! Wander and tour at your own speed, alone or with your traveling companions. The site will ask you to download an app for you mobile device that sets you free to explore Seattle. Includes transit instruction, if needed.
"Visit Seattle" Partners listing
The same folks that brought you walking tours, lists vendors of the most often "asked-for" tours and activities. You would need to connect directly with the providers listed and can search according to your type of adventure or activity.
Worldwide City Sightseeing by Bus
This bus tour company is pretty flexible about days of use and choice of trip. We like bus tours in new, big cities to familiarize ourselves with what's available to enjoy now, and list favorites to come back another day for an in-depth experience. Hop on and off as much as you wish.
Visiting and Touring the Famous Market
I come here every time I'm in Seattle and see something new each visit. The market is straight down Pike Street from our condo; turn left at the corner and head to the waterfront. It's free to go, look and shop, but this site offers links to available paid food tours.
Rentals to Get You Out On the Water
With the abundance of waterways in Seattle, we'd be remiss to leave out the opportunity to kayak, paddle board, and enjoy being on the water. There are numerous places next to our Sound and lakes to rent your chosen water vehicle and get you paddling in the fresh air for an hour or two.
