PLACES TO SEE

These suggestions are some of the most popular destinations, but are by no means the extent of all there is to see and do in this amazing city. Just the tip of the iceberg, froth on the cappuccino, sprinkles on your umbrella. There are lots of online resources, but here's one, no, two - wonderful websites to get you started.

PIKE PLACE MARKET

Founded in 1907, the Market is one of the oldest and largest continuously operating public markets in the US & is brought to life by farmers, crafters, small businesses, and residents that call it “home”. A 15 minute walk down Pike, giving you a stop at the Gum Wall on the way.

Seattle Center creates exceptional events, experiences and environments that delight and inspire the human spirit to build stronger communities. Take the monorail to the needle, or take a 27 minute walk to the Center.

Seattle Olympic Sculpture Park award-winning waterfront outdoors

OLYMPIC SCULPTURE PARK

Covered in monumental artworks, this award-winning nine-acre sculpture park on the waterfront is Seattle's largest downtown green space and is just one mile north of the Seattle Art Museum. 20 minutes by transit,  27 on foot.

The roster is full with NFL Football, WNBA Basketball, MLB Baseball, NWSL Soccer, MLS Soccer, MLR Rugby, NHL Hockey, and a variety of college teams playing all over the city. The Stadium stop on Line 1 Light Rail is just a few stops down from the Westlake station nearby.

A short distance south from Pike Place Market, this exhibit is just a 21 minute walk from this condo.  The Aquarium has six major exhibits:  Window on Washington Waters, Life on the Edge, Pacific Coral Reef, Birds & Shores, the Underwater  Dome, & Marine Mammals.

PARAMOUNT THEATER

The Paramount Theatre is rated as one of the most popular performance venues in Seattle. (And they’re just around the corner!) They provide a huge variety of star-studded music concerts, tour dates, and special events that can be checked out in the link above.

Seattle Center Park International Fountain water play fun family
