Light Rail | https://www.soundtransit.org/ride-with-us
The closest station to get you North and South in Seattle is the Westlake Station, down the hill at 5th and Pine, for an 8 minute walk. Turn right out of the building and turn left at the corner to cross over the freeway. Walk down the hill to 5th avenue, then walk right 1/2 block to the station. Fares are very reasonable and will take you North to the UW Campus (15 min) and Northgate shopping (24 min); South to Seatac Airport (48 min) and many points in-between.
Monorail | https://www.seattlemonorail.com/information/
It’s a 9 minute walk to the Monorail at Westlake Center, near the entrance to the Light Rail and clearly marked for monorail customers. It will take you on a short ride directly to the Seattle Center with restaurants and exhibition venues.
Buses | https://seattletransitmap.com/view/ Routes are plentiful and can get you almost anywhere you want to go. An Orca Pass is a great idea if you’re going to be hopping on and off the bus to see this great metropolis.
